What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clicked link for upgrade, downloaded CommitMonitor-1.8.3.736_portable, the zip.
2. Launched  the update
3. All projects removed
4. Installed msi version to no avail
5. Hoping I wont spend the next hour or so setting up all my work projects :(

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Upgrade maintaining projects as normal.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
From most recent to latest. Application runs fine aside from project loss. Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
I think that may be about all I can give. I should have backed up my list before upgrading, but its worked so well in the past I didnt think it would be an issue.

    Not sure what happened, but after relaunching it a few times they came back. Crisis averted, but leaving this here in case others can give insight.
