There is a very strange problem. Comix 4.0.4 opens evry archive normally (.cbr /.cbz).
Problem is It shows pictures only in .CBZ but not in .CBR. In .CBR it shows only "black paper" dummy picture.
I'm starting to think that problem is in *.rar support in my Ubuntu 9.10. Can You help me in this case?
i'm having the same problem. initially when trying to open a cbr it said needs the rar program, so i installed unrar and rar. now it opens but gives a dummy icon for all thumbnails and main page. i'm runing ubuntu 10.04. can anybody help?
Just started with a fresh Ubuntu installation, installed comix and rar, and had no problems whatsoever.
Can you extract the files in question manually using rar (rar/unrar x filename.cbr) ? If yes, do those file names contain characters not normally found in your language ?
