Hi developers, I finally solved the binary file issues in cvs. But you need to do a complete fresh checkout to make it work for you. This is because your local cvs repository treats every *.java-file as if it was binary. You are for example not able to merge sources, instead you are only able to choose your version or the server's version. If you do a completly fresh checkout, this is solved. I recommend you create a patch from your changes and apply it to the freshly checked out repository in order to not loosing your changes. I also edited the cvswrappers config file to automatically treat files correctly based on the file-extension. Files which cvs handles as binary are at the moment: jpg, jpeg, gif, jar. If you have any questions or further suggestions, contact me. Regards, Frederik |
