Could you try to explain a bit better what you mean by "configurable properties"? Are you talking about the standard ZMI properties? If so... well... take a look on variable schemas. No. PloneMall still does not support it, but it is common to have shops with prices in different currencies. So, It is better to have a currency symbol and a value for each product and use a default currency setting on portal_mallregistry (I think). It was a design choice and will able us to have currency exchange services in the future (when it will be needed). Anyway, I'm thinking to release PloneMall beta 2 today (or tomorrow morning).
