Hello everyone, Jian Zhang has done quite a bit of work on ColladaMaya, last week. This weekly release includes the export of bindings for ColladaFX: including lights and animations and brings forward the first version of the import of the ColladaFX node and a first prototype version of the import/export of splines. If you are interested in the import/export of splines, please try this prototype out and tell us what you think! Personally, I've added instantiation to the FS import classes, in order to provide for the increased complexity of COLLADA 1.4 with regards to instantiation. This simply allows us, for now, to bind materials through semantics and to match textures and texture coordinate sets at instantiation, rather than using the ordering of the TEXCOORD inputs in the geometry. I've also fixed a few issues: the import of animated spot light colors, multi-texturing. I've also fixed some last validation issues with respect to the recently ratified COLLADA 1.4 schema. I would also like to ask for a sample of your work. With the recent adoption and ratification of COLLADA 1.4 by Khronos and our own website being updated, we would appreciate if you could share with us screenshots of your work that could be used in marketing materials, in relation with COLLADA, for both Feeling Software and Khronos.
