Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: lesliei (lesliei) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Transparency multiplied by diffuse coefficient Initial Comment: The alpha component of the diffuse color seems to be getting multiplied by the diffuse coefficient. So, if I have a diffuse color of (R,G,B,A) = (0.5,0.5,0.5,1) and a diffuse coefficient of 0.5, the diffuse color that gets output is (0.25,0.25,0.25,0.5). I believe it should be (0.25,0.25,0.25,1). In more detail, in Maya 8.5, I set the "Diffuse" field in the "Common Material Attributes" of a lambert type shader to 0.5, and the "Color" field to (0.5,0.5,0.5). The <effect> that gets output says <diffuse><color>0.25 0.25 0.25 0.5</color></diffuse>, when I believe the last number should be 1. I am using ColladaMaya 3.05B.
