Hey guys, I'm running a Gentoo colinux distribution on my laptop, and I've been having problems getting the correct ports forwarded to the distribution so I can run SSH/VNC and login remotely to it. I have the TAP connection set as "mach-0," and its ip is 192.168.0.1. Depending on whether I'm plugged into the wall or not, the connection doing ICS/NAT is either Local Area Connection, or Wireless Network Connection. In each of the settings, I have a firewall turned on, but ports 1025 and 5900 are open, and should be forwarded to 192.168.0.121, which is what colinux is set as. I moved SSH to port 1025 because I have another SSH daemon running on my cygwin server, so don't worry about that. I did that just to keep the two separate. I've included a screenshot of the settings, sorry for the huge resolution. As you can see, ssh -p 1025 REALIP doesn't work, but ssh -p 1025 PRIVATEIP works fine. I'm absolutely flummoxed. I was able to get it working with bridged connections, but only with the wired connection, and I need to have both wireless and wired connections. Please help :*( http://arc-pear.dynalias.net/ugh.jpg Any help is much appreciated. |
