I assume that would help a lot to avoid those problems using
out-of-date drivers.
There might be problems in the driver not caused by a changed API.
So it would be easier to make a "status quo".

Then i know that the one on the disk right or wrong, but don't know
if it is actually running!

I would like to warn the user and give him a chance to invoke the new
driver from inside of the batch.
