CodeSnip manages, displays and manipulates a source code repository. The repository can display locally stored snippets downloaded from the online DelphiDabbler Code Snippets database as well as user-defined code snippets.

Designed with Pascal code in mind. Delphi or Free Pascal code snippets can be test-compiled with any installed Delphi or Free Pascal compiler and results reported. Use this feature to validate the syntax of code without switching to your compiler. Further, compilable Pascal units containing selected snippets can be generated.

Code in other languages can be stored in CodeSnip but the source file generation and compiler checking features will not be available.

Version 4 adds support for several more snippet types, tabbed browsing for displaying multiple snippets amongst other new features.
