I noticed this announcement as well, and was considering it. The downside is that with no stub generation, we give up the possibility of generating javadoc/groovydoc for the web site (I assume). Though the javadoc is broken now anyway because of a GMaven incompatibility or perhaps because of my lack of GMaven/Maven expertise. But perhaps we could do that after the 0.14 release. I created a Feature Request to track it, in case we want to do it: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3310143&group_id=250145&atid=1126575 -----Original Message----- From: Hamlet DArcy [mailto:ham...@ca...] Sent: Wednesday, June 01, 2011 3:18 AM To: cod...@li... Subject: [Codenarc-developer] using Groovy-Eclipse compiler in Maven You can now use the Groovy-Eclipse compiler from Maven. http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GROOVY/Groovy-Eclipse+compiler+plugin+for+Maven Perhaps CodeNarc should switch over to this. It's faster and there is no stub generation. -- Hamlet D'Arcy ham...@ca... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Simplify data backup and recovery for your virtual environment with vRanger.
