Chris,

I am going to check in my new xdoc based front page for the project.
It is a work in progress, but I think a good improvement over what we had.
I'll clean up the CSS and styling tomorrow.

To get the site to build, I had to comment out this line in pom.xml:

<!-- <report>dependencies</report> -->


If you don't like it then I guess revert. But I'd defend the new front
page as an improvement. And feel free to take a stab at the CSS if
you'd like!
