would it be a good idea to start supporting a feature
that allows people to de-garble sources? most sources
I encounter on the web have all their newlines and
whitespace removed, but it would be very handy to have
code2html insert them at 'logical' (configfile
required, probably ;) places?
This would allow the following blurb
function du(c2){var bb;if(!c2.keyCode){bb=c2.which;}
else{bb=c2.keyCode;}if(bb==13){if(j1())
{document.forms.dj.submit();}return false;}else {return
(bb==8||bb==9||(bb>=48&&bb<=57)||(bb>=65&&bb<=90)||
(bb>=97&&bb<=122));};}
to be re-writen as:
function du(c2) {
var bb;
if(!c2.keyCode){bb=c2.which;}else{bb=c2.keyCode;}
if(bb==13) {
if(j1()) {
document.forms.dj.submit();}return false;}else
{return(bb==8||bb==9||(bb>=48&&bb<=57)||
(bb>=65&&bb<=90)||(bb>=97&&bb<=122))
;}
;}
}

Although this sounds good, I would suggest that it is the pervue of
another program, a code beautifier. A similar but different task.
Try looking up code beautifiers--GC (Great Code) is a command-line
utility with many configurable options.
