I personally don't think it should be removed, I would much
rather it has the functionality put back into it as using the file
menu for these options is both more complex (okay not by
much but still) and greatly dis-similar from phpMyAdmin which
is the standard MySQL tool.
I personally think that having such options in a tabbed layout
is much better than a menu layout, some may disagree but I
don't see why both can't be done. I think that having the
layout as close to phpMyAdmin for such things greatly aids
the whole ease-of-use factor for users who have come to
Cocoa MySQL from phpMyAdmin as well.
