Actually, it is still developed, but I never have enough time to work on it. But I plan to release a new version this summer...
All contributed pieces of code will be implemented in this version. Thanks for all contributions!

Hi Lorenz, curious as to the status of your work at the moment. I'm using CocoaMySQL-SBG (0.6.5) which seems to be helping at the moment, but I'd really like to see your product progress.
Thanks much!

Hi,
Actually I have continued development in these days. You find betas on http://cocoamysql.sourceforge.net/beta.php.
I am now working on SSH tunnel support and will then release it.

CVS will be supported some day, at least for downloading the current source. For the moment, please mail your code to lorenz@textor.ch and indicate what features you have added. Please mark your code changes in the source code to make it more easy for me to merge the code.
Thanks, Lorenz.

Actually, I got a touch bored today and in preparation of the arrival of my intel based macbook pro thing, managed to build a supposed universal smysql framework (with universal libmysql) and then universal cocoamysql. Once I get a chance to test it on an intel machine I will put it up with rest of my changes.

It seems to have been working alright so far as a universal binary and I should be able to personally test it within the next few weeks. The main changes really were an update of the SMySQL framework and built against a universal build of the mysql libraries. After that just some updates of CocoaMySQL to be more all cocoa only (ie the keychain handling)

If not, mind if someone else takes it over?

Would be nice to see this really start being developed heavily again as this is the handiest mysql app we've found to date.

Given that you are not using CVS, and probably never will,
could you give some guidelines for submitting patches
and contributions.

Good to hear this brilliant app is still being developed - will there be a version once the intel macs are out?
I think it will be easy to port it to the Intel Macs. But the question is, if the SMySQL framework and the MySQL C API will be ported...
At the latest when my PowerBook will be replaced by a cool new Intel PowerBook I have to port it... ;-)

Please let me know what you have changed when it is working on your Intel machine so I can make the official version a universal binary too...
Thanks!
