I am looking to Understand how to convert Cobol file to ASCII and read through some blogs in understanding cobol copybooks and the code in git hub for "cobol2j". Could you suggest me any site/blog that helps out. I am looking to implement this code in python. Thanks in advance.

sample data and copybook is something rather I expect from you :) .xc2j file is required...
