I've checked in a a few fixes to the cobertura plugin, as well as documentation updates at https://svn.codehaus.org/mojo/trunk/mojo/mojo-sandbox/cobertura-maven-plugin/ The only thing holding back the plugin is the lack of ability to fork the surefire-testing. See http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-441 Without this ability, the cobertura.ser is apparently not written out correctly. IDEA: What about creating the ability to specify a classname / method name pattern to insert a cobertura statement to force the save of the ProjectData. command line could be: --savepattern "*Test#tearDown()" This would insert the following : protected void tearDown() { try { /* Original Body of tearDown() */ } finally { net.sourceforge.cobertura.coveragedata.ProjectData.saveGlobalProjectData(); } } A list of common patterns could be created.
