Hi Just getting started with Cobertura. A few questions centered around --ignore and --ignoreBranches: 1. The description of the --ignore option for cobertura-instrument.bat is: Description: "Specify a regular expression to filter out certain lines of your source code. This is useful for ignoring logging statements. You can have as many --ignore statements as you want" Default value: "no files are ignored" Can --ignore really specify lines of source code? Or is it limited to specifying classes, as in the example given (--ignore "org.apache.log4j.*") 2. In instrument.Main.java and in ant.InstrumentTask.java, there is processing for --ignoreBranches and <ignoreBranches regex=... />, but I can't find any related documentation. How do we use regexs to specify branches in this case? 3. I was going to ask what the difference is between using --ignore and --ignoreBranches versus excluding a class. But if --ignore and --ignoreBranches can get down to line and branch level, I guess I have my answer. Richard |
