Did you ever fix the issue with being able to attach User-Agent: strings to outbound HTTP requests that don't have one.
VisualStudio 2013 does not add one to its HTTP requests, but our corporate proxy rejects requests without a user-agent.
[If not, I might have patch for you]
My company blocks me unless I utter the magic user agent string.
The -M feature wouldn't run and cntlm interpreted the HTTP 403 return code as an open proxy.
Thanks

Sholom Zev,
I run Fiddler in the background and have it add the user-agent field for VS2015.
Sigh
