A couple of years ago, I got wind that the Air Force had worked with Sphinx to automate a transcription process of live voice-looped audio streams for a training ops that streamed the resulting transcription back to all users with time stamps and who stated what. Another example was a set of tank commanders watching live dictated audio feeds with time stamps and who said what during a battle scene. Does that really exist and if so, how could we implement this in a Command Center Voice-loop environment ?
