hi world,
(sorry for my english)
i am coming from linuxmce
forum.
i would like to control my home with a speech recognition system. hope i will
find here all information that might help me.
i will describe the context to be sure not to forget anything.
we are 4 (french) people.
actually, my system is based on a debian, using EIBD (usb), linknx et knxweb.
but maybe, i ll chage for a linuxmce.
i have a russound cam6.6T that will permit to ear my computer anywhere.
microphone will be placed in principals rooms
goal is of course to translate human demands in actions that will be played by
computer.
so, first, is this realistic. and... HOW TO ?
Tks in advance.

Yes, why not
Read documentation
http://hackaday.com/2010/07/11/adding-speach-recognition-to-your-embedded-
platform/
Then build and install pocketsphinx
http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/wiki/download
Then download French acoustic model
https://sourceforge.net/projects/cmusphinx/files/Acoustic%20and%20Language%20
Models/French%20AM%20and%20LM%20models%20-%20clean%20%28F0%29%20speech/
Then install everything in your system and implement integration between
pocketsphinx and the rest of your system.
As an example you can look on home automation project Misterhouse https://sou
rceforge.net/projects/misterhouse/
It already uses pocketsphinx.
then download and compile pocketsphinx
