We are working on the broadband acoustic models first, and then we'll be cranking out some telephone models. I was able to get some stuff working with a USR Voice FaxModem Pro, but i haven't got the whole thing hooked up with Sphinx yet. Festival works there. We do need the audio models, though, and they are on the stack. We're hoping the first broadband models will come out in about 3 weeks, then (again hopefully) the generic telephone bandwidth models 3 weeks after that.

We have a telephony interface used in our research systems, but it is expensive for typical individual use (~$1000 for a setup). We are currently investigating the InternetJack (driver available in Linux kernel 2.2.14), but we have no information yet as to its fitness for use.

Is there a Telephony interface to Sphinx? If not - then are there plans? Is anyone interested in this?
