Hi, I'm an admin and lead developer over at the OpenCyc knowledge base project, where we are working on an open source release of Cyc.
I believe collaboration between our two projects would be fruitful to both, in that OpenCyc needs dramatic demonstrations, and for you OpenCyc could provide alternate English word disambiguations based upon sentence understanding and context.
I've downloaded and very briefly examined the source code. Am I right in identifying search_get_alt as an api call to investigate? This would supply the N best words and OpenCyc could then apply semantic constraints to filter out the alternatives that do not make sense.
