I'm new to speech recognition at all and I'm to sphinx in particular!!! Could anybody exlpain me how... How can I tie sphinx recognition engine to Dialogic voice board D/300SC-2E1. I haven't understood how to transmit audio data from telephony lines to sphinx!!?? Should I record data from dialogic to audio file and than read this data whith sphinx! Maybe it's possible to transmit audio data directly from dialogic into sphinx without temporary audio file!? What is sample rate to be done with??

I think you should read the manual. It is pretty
well explained. I can't help with specific boards
but Sphinx accepts 16 kHz and 8 kHz. I am not
sure of the following, but I think for telephony
applications, you should use Sphinx with 8kHz

ya. You need sphinx to be running with a sample rate of 8Khz.
Just stream the data as it comes in, no use of creating a temp data file.
