Hi,
When a spoken word is not in the dictionary file, the Sphinx2 system returns a text which it percieves as the spoken word.
Is it possible to find out when the spoken word is not in the vocabulary?
Thanks in advance
Edison

Do you mean before or during execution of the system. If you mean before, just look it up in ythe .dic file, if during then I havnt got a clue.

Hi,
I mean, the phonemes generated by the sphinx system when the system is running & a word/phrase is passed to it.
Also, when I ran sphinx-continuous for some of my words I got a blank and for some fo these words I got a 'THE' even though the words weer no where alphabetically nearer to 'THE'.
Can some tell me why this happens?
Thanks in advance
Edison
