I have a little voice recorder that gives .wav's to a desktop system.
I've been recording meetings and such on it.
Is there any way of feeding these .wav's and getting some sort of text out of them using a version of sphinx? And if so, which version would be best? This isn't at all realtime, so maybe Sphinx 3 flat?
I'm working on *ix systems, and have little interest in using windows really.
Thanks!

Both Sphinx 3's decode_anytopo, decode and Sphinx 4 should be fine for you.
Of course, meeting speech recognition is one of the fore front of the technology, so don' t expect any plugged in recognizers will work too good.
