I need some deep help.
I m developping in C a free lighting board for Pc under windows. Im a light designer in theatre, and I came to coding I dont know how. So be aware that my understanding of what will be answered is not evident, i m not informatician at beginning !
As schwartzpeter (http://karistouf.free.fr/schwartzpeter.html) is now mature for controlling lights for theatre and dance, it s time for me to inject inside new maners to create lightings, far away from the usual ways of manipulating lights ( calling a channel by typing its number or using mouse to rise it up...)
I have a project with plasticians around a contemporary text, inside a big house. This project will be in one month.
A voice saying the text will be diffused in certains parts of the house.
This voice may be a result of another process thruth MAX/VNSP ( mixed text with its own rules).
I want to create my lights around the voice diffused inside of the house , not using its volume or attack, but using what is says ( detection of words) to enclench lighting events. Lighting events will be designed with the meanings and the vocabulary rythm of the text.
Thats how I discover the voce lib, developped by Tyler Streeter (http://voce.sourceforge.net/), wich is based on sphinx4. This lib enables me to communicate with sphinx4.jar in C++ easely.
That I was searching for: I m under mingw32, the gcc portage on windows. And i was very happy to find a lib without deep troubles of code to adapt...
Now my problem is there:
sphinx is by default in english.
I m french and the text to be work and analysed with is... in french.
I was happy to find the package og Maine university on sourceforge.
BUT ...
syntax of files were different from usual samples given based on english model.
I founded a sample of config file posted by Laurent and with peter wolf help.
Helas, I dont have any jar file including sphinx3 modelloader, and I m not practicing java (it seems to need to rebuild sphinx4 to have the class sphinx3 wich is absent from official sourceforge release).
If laurent is there (or anybody that use sphinx with the french deposit)it would be great to have a zip somewhere to download of ready to work sphinx4 motor and config !
Quite complex to handle and test, just to make it work in french...
I was ready to play a little bit inside rules of grammar, but here it begins to be something very complicate...
So I really need a simple and clear help...
