I just downloaded Sphinx 3.5 and installed it. However I tried to run the sample program, sphinx3-simple, and it told me it couldn't find livedecode, well I couldn't find it either, but i did have livepretend. Anyone know why it isn't installing?

No, it is also implemented for linux, but there is a naming mismatch. The name of the executable is decode.

Someone should correct either the script or the Makefile ;-)

      /dirk

Sorry, I was a bit too fast. Yes, Javi is right. It is only implemented for windows.

      /dirk

I already have made one livedecode executable for LINUX. If you are still interested i can send it for you.

      Hi Javi,
Do you think you could make it open source? Though we''ve decided that we don't want to include a live version for Sphinx (see the thread "About Linux/OSX version of livedecode"), we still hope that other people could use it. Could you tell me what you think? You could send me mail direct.

      Javi,
Do you still have a livedecode executable for Linux? If so, could you please send it to me? Right now I'm working on a script to write to a file via Sphinx2 and read from the file via Sphinx3. But I think an executable would be more efficient.

      Thanks

It seems it is only implemented for Windows. You can see it in the main_livedecode.c file in .../sphinx-3.5/src/programs/
Actually i'm trying to make a livedecode server for LINUX, but perhaps it is already implemented (if you know it, please tell me)

      Greetings

      Javi
