    Hello,

I am very new to Sphinx and speech recognisition.. I have been reading CMU Shinx and trying out Sphinx 4 and Andriod Demo sample. I am following instructions mentioned here http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/wiki/tutorialandroid#including_resource_files for Andriod Studio and everything seems to be okay until I run the demo in Emulator.

I see demo in emulator but it shows the following error.
"Failed to init recognizer java.io.IOException: cannot get external files dir, external storage is removed."

I didn't make any changes and imported whole project as is.

    Thank you for help

    Regards
    Srini

The error explains itself very well - you need external storage to
      unpack the model files.

        Hey Alexander,

Think maybe you could be a little more helpful than this? For example, are you suggesting that it's not possible to use/emulate external storage via the android simulator? Stating that the error is self-evident is the least informative response I've ever seen. Not all of us are Android Development Mavericks. Thanks.

        Sincerely, Grant
