I am using pocketsphinx ps alignment to do text alignment with PTM acustic model (cmusphinx-en-us-ptm-5.2). I am always geting lower acoustic score for the two words "Turtle" and "Circle" compared to other words. I have following in the dictionary.
TURTLE T ER T AH L
CIRCLE S ER K AH L
For reference i have attached the wave, word segment and phone segment file generated from pocketphnx.
I am geting much lower spectral score for two words TURTLE and CIRCLE than all other words spoken by the same native american speaker on pocketsphinx text alignment.
1) Is this an expected behaviour !
2) Or I have wrong pronunciation for the two words in dictionary for US English.
TURTLE T ER T AH L
CIRCLE S ER K AH L
