Hi,
I know that some topics have already been created about this subject but
nothing could help me...
I was trying the c version of pocketSphinx for a long time using my one sound
capture code using alsa.
But I've just discovered that ad objects do what i was trying to do. So I came
back to the alsa problem (i've never successfull used
pocketsphinx_continuous=>always no micro founded...
My speech processing was working but i now need to use the pocketsphinx
framework to record sound.
I've tried to use the hw:0,0 audio device but i 've got the Failed to set PCM
device to mono: Invalid argumen
So i've tried to use plughw:0,0 => Warning: Could not find Mic element
So i finally tried to create a .asoundrc configuration file in my home
directory, containing
pcm.plug0={type=plug;slave={pcm="hw:0,0";},};
Error returned:
ALSA lib control.c:882:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL 0
Mixer attach to 0 failed: No such file or directory
When i trie this new device in audacity, with one channel, it's working, as
when i'm using hw:0,0 in audacity in mono...
I'm quite disapointed because i'was looking for a solution all afternoon...and
it's still not working...
Thanks for your answer!
Mehdi

I don't know if it's related to the problems I had.
