I just got sphinx2-test to work correctly by recording a sample audio file at 8000 speed. Now, I don't know how to get sphinx2-simple to recognize what I say into the microphone.
1. I know that my sound system is capable of a wide variety of kHz modes, but how do I know which one I'm using?
2. How do I change it?
3. If I can't change it or don't need to, how do I get sphinx2-simple to recognize my voice at whatever kHz frequency I'm using? I already tried the -samp parameter at 16000 and 8000 but nothing seems to work.
I know my mic works because I can yell things into it and get incorrect translations, just like when I was toying around with sphinx2-test. Can anyone help me out here? Please see the previous post for background info.
Thanks in advance. I really appreciate it.
