    Hi!

    I have problem with pocketsphinx_continuous. When I launch
    ./pocketsphinx_continuous -hmm

    /home/marco/otto/evalita/etc/evalita_5.dic

    I receive the error

    Audio read errorFATAL_ERROR: "continuous.c", line 276: Failed to read audio

    Has anybody any suggestion?

    READY....

    I tried my mic with the command arecord -f S16_LE -r 8000 -D default >
    record.wav
    and it works!

    So I don't understand how i can get working mic with pocketsphinx_continuous

    Please help me!

    Did you try with adding -adcdev plughw:0 to the arguments?

    Hi berkerbatur ! I resolved it.
    It was a problem with the volume of the microphone that was too low.

    so thank to berkerbatur, i has the same problem with marcu6 when i try to
    recognize with a microphone build-in usb webcam. i resolved it after added
    -adcdev /dev/dsp1
