    Hello,

I downloaded Sphinx4, and installed it on my winxp, but I got errors, when I ran WavFile.jar.
I got error like this: Audio file format not supported. I tested with several .wav files, but same errors, except the default .wav is working, which comes with Sphinx4.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

      Hi Holger,

I recorded my audio files in .au format, I ran it with WavFile.jar, it looked working, but with empty result. I tried it with Transcriber.jar, output is "eight", which is wrong, so any idea?

      Thanks again!

      Fanhua

As I've already said: You won't run into problems with WavFile.jarwith and your audio file formats if you're using the latest svn-trunk copy.

Use wav in proper format - PCM 16 kHz 16-bit signed.

      Hi Nickolay,

Thanks for your so quick respond, I will check it, my wav files are created by phpagi (asterisk) automatically.

      Anyway Thanks a lot!

        Hi Fanhua,

don't change your wav-files. Just update your svn-copy and try again. It should work now. :-)

      Hi Holger,

      Thanks for your reply!
I did not use svn, I just downloaded sphinx4-1.0beta-bin.zip, and installed it, so you think it will work?
