problem with compiling sphinxbase with vc++

I try to compile sphinxbase with vc++ and I get the following error:

LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '....\lib\release\sphinxbase.lib'

I searched my computer for 'sphinxbase.lib' and I couldn't locate it. What could be the problem?

  no problem anymore. Downloaded the released version and the compilation goes well.
