I want to train a database in Bangla for Android phone. Will it be helpful to
record speech data in android?
I have found android can not record speech in .wav format. It only supports
.3gp & .amr. Does sphinix train support .amr file to train??

I am new to CMU sphinix. If anyone can give any suggestion it would be
helpful.

sphinxtrain doesn't support amr format. You need to convert amr files to wav
to train model with them.
