I am currently building an app with the Speech Recognition from Android. Now I wanted to try a diffenerent Speech Recognition and stumbled on the CMU Sphinx Speech Recognition. I am still not sure if Sphinx is the right software for my needs.
Until now I have only seen implementations of the software for commands and definded sentences. Is it possible to use all of the words?

Yes, though it requires skills and patience to tune large vocabulary speech recognition on weak phone hardware.
