    Hello,

according to the poll on http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/ and the state of the github repository https://github.com/cmusphinx, it looks like you are getting close to make a switch.

    Do you have a timeline?
Is it already ok to get the updates solely from Github?
    What about the forum?

(sorry if I am being nosy but I am looking forward to the switch)

      Hello Toine

We have currently implemented semi-automatic sync from svn to github, so github repository will be supported. It is fine to get updates from github.

The full switch requires solution of several important organizational problems and forum is one of them. We'll probably setup stackoverflow-like space for support questions on a separate server.

Due to the number of issues to solve I don't think we'll fully switch before the new release which is somewhat delayed.

Thanks for your support and understanding.

    Ok, thanks for the reply.
My interest in Github is mainly for the 'pull request' feature and the bleeding edge of the code.

For example, the SWIG binding ps_decoder.i does not expose the function get_vad_state which is found in the Java Decoder class.
I am interested in the python bindings and have therefor updated the file.

Not sure how to address this with sourceforge.

toine, feel free to send your requests, we'll merge them. You can treat our github repositores as full-functioning code repositories, so you can file issues, submit requests and so on.

    I think get_vad_state was superseded by get_in_speech.
