CMS Bridges API documentation

Today we uploaded the beginnings of the git repository including generated api documentation. I also pulled the generated api documentation to the project web space and you can view it via http://cmsbridges.sourceforge.net/api/. The beginnings of the base class can not determine one of the three platforms for Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress.

CMS Bridges Platform Defined

I am now able to determine the platform from the three I plan to start with, Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress. The instantiation must occur after the platform has started and included some of its initialization files to do this. The next phase will determine how to code for each platform but in a common API to the developer using CMS Bridges.

CMS Bridges Begins

I have began having this idea when joining some forums and watching people struggle with which CMS to use. The idea stemmed from people who asked which CMS was best and watching the responses of people. My goal here is to provide a unified method to create a module or theme and have that module or theme be usable in Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress with as little else to do to get the module working with the platform. The CMS Bridges API should be able to determine the CMS Platform it is executing under. There may need to be some platform module specifics that needs to be coded before the CMS Bridges supplied module works.
