ClusterIt 2.5 Released

After extensive testing, I am releasing ClusterIt 2.5 today.

This version contains a number of significant enhancements to ClusterIt, including a new command, dtop, which is a distributed top command. Addtionally, the ability to gather files via pcp, and run one-time-scripts via dsh with the -s flag have been added. A number of reported bugs have also been fixed in this release.

ClusterIt is a suite of utilities to assist in managing and setting up groups of machines. It provides facilities to run commands and copy files to remote hosts in parallel. It also includes a parallel xterm, and utilities to allow parallel shell scripting, and simplify distributed compiling.

Release of 2.4_BETA

I am tenatively releasing 2.4_BETA to the world today. I would appreciate any reports of success or failure with this new version.

This version is primarily bug fixes and minor feature enhancements. Anyone who has had problems using ClusterIt under Linux should find that this release is much more stable on Linux. If there are no major problems with this release, I will be releasing the official 2.4 version in 1-2 weeks.
