I have downloaded 'clonezilla-live-20161017-yakkety-amd64' and burned it onto a DVD. When I run it, the main screen comes up and next a dark screen comes up with the errors that are shown in the Attachment. Since it does not recognize the Mouse nor Keyboard, it freezes and will not continue at the next screen. The Mouse and Keyboard are connected to USB-4-1 and USB-4-2 respectively. I am running on a brand new Gigabyte 970 SLI motherboard in UEFI only mode.
Does Clonezilla live 20161024-yakkety have same issue? It has newer Linux kernel so the results might be different.
Steven
Exactly the same issue! It just will not see the USB Keyboard and Mouse. Fedora 24 Live works great on the same unit. It must have something to do with Secure Boot not allowing the Keyboard and Mouse, do you think?
Any difference if you choose "KMS", "Safe graphic settings", or "Failsafe" mode?

Hi Steven
The "KMS", "Safe graphic settings both give the exact same result. Failsafe will not get past the second SplashScreen ( just the Splashscreen, without any options showing), and freezes at that point.

I believe this is released Linux kernel/hardware support issue. Therefore please wait for the newer Linux kernel available in the upstream (Debian or Ubuntu) repository and we will make another Clonezilla live.

Hi Steven
I have the greatest appreciation of what you are doing and I will wait for the next live yakkety-amd64 release. This Secure Boot/EFI thing is causing a lot of grief for Open Software and I am sure you guys will prevail soon.
Maybe you can give Clonezilla live 20161114-zesty a try. Its Linux kenel is slightly newer than that in 20161007-yakkety:
