Hi there - I've used clonezilla in this way in the past, but am having a hell of a time accomplishing it today.
the command provided is:
/usr/sbin/ocs-sr -g auto -e1 auto -e2 -c -j2 -k1 -scr -r -icds -plu -p poweroff restoredisk "Win11Pro-Generalized-Image" nvme0n1
I cannot for the life of me create a menu option in grub.cfg (/boot/grub/grub.cfg) that executes this command in an automated fashion. I can remove or add new options that appear in the grub menu when booting, but anything i do leads to errors, or outright completely ignoring any changes and just booting the default option anyway.
would you be able to provide a corrected grub menu option that should execute this command automatically? (I understand the dangers involved, this will be used on one computer repeatedly with specific intent)
my end desire is that i boot to the USB, and i either receive zero prompts at all or a singular confirmation that I am ready to execute the task
I've also attached my log file from my first execution, in hopes it may reveal what is required to make this happen. thanks so much for any help you can provide!
close ticket - rebuilt and used iso/folder creation option - was going the wrong direction with my original intent. cant find a way to delete or edit original post.
