Hi I had to forgo encrypting my Ubuntu install as doing so causes my Clonezilla backups to be ~= the size of the disk rather than only the used space (which is a small % of total disk size).
Are there any relatively simple and reliable strategies I can employ to use clonezilla to make a space-efficienct backup of such a disk? Or is there an alternate disk encryption method I can use which is compatible with spze-efficient clonezilla backups?
Many thx

Actually Clonezilla live >=3.1.0-22 can be used to save the LUKS device if you provide the passphrase to mount the LUKS device. Have you tried that?

Does CZ Live 2.8.0-27 have this feature?
Please use the latest stable one, i.e., 3.1.1-27 or 20231102-mantic:
