I presume there's no support for this use-case but I said I would ask just in case there is (and if not to add it as a feature request).
What would be great would be the ability to clone to two targets simultaneously.
I'm currently using Clonezilla to assist with a backup protection plan for my desktop computer. Once a month, I create a full disk image which I run to an HDD in an enclosure.
Once every few months, I plan on rotating my offsite copy. Of course, I could copy the first image onto the second HDD after writing it. But it would be nice to just hook the two enclosures up to a computer and write one backup image to the two drives at the same.
If there's any way I haven't thought of to simultaneously write one image onto two targets kindly let me know!
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I did come across that documentation. But that's concerned with restoring one Clonezilla image onto multiple disks right?
What I'm looking to do is take a Clonezilla image onto multiple disks? In other words, to do the process that I think is documented but in reverse (backup to multiple targets).
Or are you saying that the correct way to do this would be to take the first image and then follow the steps to clone it to additional targets?

I believe this is the one you are asking:

Hi Steven,
I did come across that documentation. But that's concerned with restoring one Clonezilla image onto multiple disks right?

Yes, save the source device as an image first, then you can use the URL I mentioned to dispatch the image to multiple disks.
Steven
Thanks, Steven!
Clonezilla is an easy-to-use open source disk imaging software for cloning hard drives. It is also a bootable software for cloning hard drives.
