Hi, I am struggling to install and use clonezilla server to help me on the pc installation process. The main issue is that sometime with some pc image fail to be created or fail to be restored. In order to fix this I want be sure to have a good installation. First of all I always encountered this error "Unable to find the fine-tune file..." regarding the distro on which I am installing. I am unable, for example to download the CENTOS 7.0, you always find the last one like 7.3 or so on, and Clonezilla server always says that it is unable to find the fine-tune files for that version and using the previous one the client will experience some problem... This is my first concern, I really will love eliminate or fix this.
Then, I don't know if there it is a related problem, on the client side (using CENTOS 6.8 or 7.3) I receive the error " modeprobe ERROR: could not insert ' ata_piix' : unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
modeprobe ERROR: ctx=0x102d010 path=/lib/modules/3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64/kernel/drivers/ata/libata.ko error+No such file or directory"
It repeat the error for "pata_acpi", "ata_generic", "i2c_piix4" and on a virtual machine it add "vboxguest" (I tried on real pc and virtualbox pc).
I suppose that for those errors, despite I choosed using DCS to power off the client after the restore, at the end of restore it ask to press a key and it go in command line.
I tried installing Clonezilla server on a real server and on a virtual one. I used Ubuntu, CenOs, Fedora but always with some issues. for example on ubuntu everything was ok except that after a while the service stop without any reasons and I have to open the server console and restart DRBL. With fedora the system crashes every 5 minutes and drived me crazy. Centos look stable but with modeprobe error and the "fine-tune" error I am not able to work with the peace of mind.
Another strange thing is that all the images created with the previous version of clonezilla server under Ubuntu are useless under the current version of clonezilla server Centos based. If I try to restore an old image it say that the disk is too small even if I am restoring a 250gb image on a 1TB disk, is like it is unable to recognize the partition data from the old image.
Please Can you help me to fix those problems?
I apologize in advance for the horrible description and if I have done some silly question (May be that I work in a shed costantly at no more than 5 celsius degree for the 80% of the year, and you know ... brain freezing :-) ).
    Thanks for your help

Please give unstable DRBL a try.
Let us know the results. Thanks.
