to be honest, i set up my current clonezilla server a year ago so I would'nt know whats changed in the install process since then.
I also followed a guide and a youtube video to help me at key points as i know nothing about linux at all really. i could link you to those if you want?

@Aaron,
"i think thats what i did last time and then linux went kaput a week later. " -> I do not think the "rm" command will make your system be kaput. It's a very normal command on GNU/Linux system, and the image file is nothing to do with OS running.
BTW, we do not integrate any command to remove the image in Clonezilla live TUI.

Hi I currently have a Clonezilla SE set up to image machines on our network, but I am stuck with a stupid point.
How do I delete images that are no longer needed?
Last time I did this through terminal using commands, a week later my Linux refused to boot and I had to start from scratch again.
I know this may be a stupid question to some but I am really stuck so any advice would be really appreciated.
thanks in advance
Just use the rm command to remove that, e.g.
rm -rf /home/partimag/my-image

i think thats what i did last time and then linux went kaput a week later.
so theres no way to delete it from clonezilla itself?
