We are 2 users mpuech and esitlse in the group cid. When mpuech makes an image, esitlse can't restore it because the permissions on the PartClone images aren't good: no read permissions for the group.
The mode 600is not a must, but it has better security. Not sure why after image is created, those partclone image files are not changed to mode 600. Is that a file system which does not support those feature? Like FAT?

Of course, we can change the permissions under Linux, but isn't it another solution ?
Best regards.
If you do not care about the permission, there is an option "-noabo" just added in Clonezilla live >= 2.5.0-25. You can check it in the expert mode.

Hello,
I care about permissions.
"-rw-rw-r--" is OK, but not "-rw-------".
I'm not sure I use the "server edition". It's probably "Clonezilla live" through Pxe boot.
