clients cant pxe boot into clonezilla server

hi all,

using ubuntu 24.04 and installed DRBL using below using DRBL repo not the APT one

https://std.rocks/gnulinux_clonezilla_drbl.html

but now my clients cant pxe boot into my clonezilla live server

on the client i get this

"selected boot image did not authenticate"

ive enabled the dnsmasq service via

/usr/sbin/drbl-proxy-dhcp enable

as ive got a DHCP server already

alright, if i disable "secure boot" on laptop it boots into clonezilla live server fine

so how do i get it to work with secure boot please

If what you want DRBL is for imaging or deploying systems, then you can try this:
https://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-SE/use_clonezilla_live_in_drbl.php
Or you can use Clonezilla lite server:
https://clonezilla.org//fine-print-live-doc.php?path=clonezilla-live/doc/11_lite_server
That's easier, and it supports secure boot of netboot client.

what im doing is because PXE boot secure boot isnt working, ive made a clonezilla live USB, booting the pc off that and then im pointing to my samba server where the clonzilla images are saved so i can restore or capture from there

is there a way to check im using the drbl repo and not the apt repo

here are the versions its installed

drbl is already the newest version (5.11.15-drbl1).
clonezilla is already the newest version (5.19.7-drbl1).

and heres the repo i added

oh do you mean download clonezilla live zip and use that on the drbl server, instead of the clonezilla live that came with the drbl server?

but still cant pxe boot off secure boot clients but works for non secure boot clients

what am i doing wrong please
