Just want to make sure. I've been wanting to make a "master" install from a virtualbox debian install.
Restoring the image to a "real" box is working fine. But as soon as I touch partitions thru fdisk or logical volumes thru lvm. The system won't boot anymore.
Is this because you're not supposed to clone from a virtual box and restore to a real box ? Or is it me ?
