After booting clonezilla live boot menu and select the any resolution mode, the tool will stop working.
I had tried several version of Clonezilla tool ( clonezilla-live-2.3.2-22-amd64, clonezilla-live-2.4.2-10-amd64, clonezilla-live-2.4.2-13-amd64), and all could reproduce the symptom that clonezilla will stop work.
Have any one know the problem?

Did you give alternative Clonezilla live a try? http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
20150623-wily
or
20150623-vivid
Or 2.4.2-13 which comes with Linux kernel 4.05 so it might have different results.

I had also verified this issue with "2.4.2-15-amd64"/"20150630-vivid-amd64" and "20150630-wily-amd64", and verify with other graphic modes and all could reproduce it.
OK, this is uEFI booting mode.
Did you burn the iso file on a CD then boot it on your uEFI machine? If so, could you try to boot other uEFI machines? Or put Clonezilla live on a USB key then boot it.
By doing this, we can verify that if this is hardware issue or not.

Hi Steven,
I found the issue during using Clonezilla USB key.
I verified the symptom on the same systems, and some of them could reproduce it, but some of them could not.
I am confusing because the tool should have the symptom on the same systems, and the tool should cover the platforms.

"some of them could reproduce it, but some of them could not." -> Most of these cases are about hardware issue. Maybe you'd better to test your USB key on different machine to make sure it's working, and also do a memtest on the machine.

Well, we keep using the linux kernel in Debian Sid. Therefore if there is new Linux kernel available on Sid.
Actually the new Linux kernel 4.0.7 is used in Clonezilla live 2.4.2-17: http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php

Hi Steven,
I had already verified with "2.4.2.13-amd64"in previous notes, and clonezilla tool will also stop work.
I test "20150623-wily" and "20150623-vivid", but the results are still failed.
Have any one know the problem?

So what are the error messages about "stop working"? Or you can take a photo about the screen and post it?
Or did you try different graphic modes (safe graphic mode, KMS...) in the boot menu?

Hi Steven,
The USB key could work normal on the other systems.

Hi Steven,
I used the Clonezilla ISO CD and the defect still could be duplicated.
