Hanging with new Dell Latitude 5400

With older Dell Latitude 5000 series laptops I had no problems, but with the new 5400 (numbers starting over) I get stuck at the attached screen. I am booting from one USB drive and reading the images from another. I have tried using both the live standard stable image and the live alternative image with the same results. I have disabled secure boot in the BIOS. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do to fix this?
